Privacy and retention notice
This notice explains what Reentry Address and SafeAddress collect, why records are used, who may access them, and when operational records are deleted.

Reentry Address and SafeAddress are operated by Reentry Address LLC. This notice covers the public website at reentryaddress.org, report-purchase activity, and the protected SafeAddress application at app.reentryaddress.org. A signed organization agreement may add stricter requirements but may not silently weaken this notice.
Information collected on the public website
When you request a demonstration, ask about a housing partnership, purchase a report, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, organization, role, state, organization type, purchase status, transaction reference, and the message you submit.
Do not submit client names, offense details, victim information, medical information, Social Security numbers, court records, or other sensitive case material through the public website or ordinary email.
Information processed in SafeAddress
The protected application may process account and organization details, validated addresses and coordinates, applicant restriction-profile selections, housing records, screening findings, report credits, payment references, user notes, data-quality reports, and audit events.
Authorized administrators and reviewers may view controlled public-registry details for a documented purpose. Standard customer accounts receive summary counts rather than registry identities. SafeAddress does not use the nearby-registry layer as a substitute for the applicant’s own restriction profile.
Do not upload full criminal-history files, Social Security numbers, medical records, confidential victim addresses, or complete court files unless a separately approved workflow expressly requires and protects them. Confidential victim coordinates and custom exclusion polygons are not accepted by the current standard workflow.
Payments
PayPal or another disclosed payment provider processes card and payment-account information. We may receive buyer details, transaction identifiers, purchased product, amount, status, and limited fraud or checkout information needed to confirm and fulfill the order. Reentry Address does not ask you to send complete payment-account numbers through its website or email.
Technical and security information
Our hosting, email, mapping, security, and data providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, requested pages, security signals, validated-address responses, and delivery status. This supports service delivery, access control, abuse prevention, auditing, troubleshooting, and security.
How information is used
- Provide preliminary address screening, housing, report, and account functions.
- Enforce role, organization, registry-access, credit, and audit controls.
- Respond to demo, partnership, privacy, security, and support requests.
- Confirm, fulfill, correct, refund, and support report purchases.
- Maintain source provenance, investigate missing data, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect people, rights, and systems.
How information is shared
Information may be processed by service providers that host the website and application, validate addresses, display maps, deliver email, prevent abuse, or process payments. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect people, rights, or systems. We do not sell inquiry or screening information to advertisers.
Restricted registry information is available only to an administrator or separately authorized reviewer for a documented purpose. Access is time-limited and audited. Payment does not grant this access.

A documented legal hold, preservation request, active security incident, payment dispute, or signed organization agreement may temporarily extend a period. The reason, owner, scope, and release date must be recorded. When the hold ends, the normal disposition resumes.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete information associated with you, subject to identity verification and lawful retention requirements. Contact privacy@reentryaddress.org. Report a suspected security incident to security@reentryaddress.org.
Important screening limit
SafeAddress provides preliminary research and documentation. It is not legal advice, a residence approval, a consumer report, or a substitute for an attorney, court, sheriff, supervision officer, housing authority, or other authorized decision-maker.
Changes
Material changes will update the effective date and notice version. A new notice does not silently revive information already scheduled for deletion.
